War birds / Grand Canyon North rim

We took a trip last weekend  to Valle Az for the war bird fly-in. Then to the North Rim! I had a great time & rode over 900 miles! Mark shot a video & of course I'm the star!

My back yard view

Thought I would show you a few shots of my view from my yard (I'm not always ride'n around on a bike)

Those are the Hualapai mtns, we go up there in the heat of the summer!
Hey bunny get out of here, this is my yard!

Pretty rainbows, but gee I hate lighting! Scares the hell out of me I go hide under Mark's bed!

It even snows here a few times a year. Don't like walking in it though, my paws get cold!

Well, that's a little tour of the sights around my hood!

A ride to Sedona!

One of the rides I remember on the blue connie, was a ride we took to sedona.
We stopped in flagstaff, where I got to walk among some very nice trees!

Then we went down a very twisty hwy89A to Sedona

We went through cottonwood, and Mark stopped at a burger place where I got some ice cream (I love ice cream!)
We went through Jerome & up a mighty twisty road to Prescott for the night, well this trip was a few years ago but I still remember the beautiful sights we saw! It's good to be a m/c ride'n dog & have such memories of fantastic trips Mark has taken me on!

The blue connie!

My first motorcycle ride was on a 2001 blue concours. We took many trips on this bike, I went to Las vegas a lot times to visit Mark's pop  Chester, I will miss him, he saved me from certain death! And was an excellent master too!  Here's a pic from one of our trips (Mark's Sis Patty was there, I like her too!)

Here we are on one of our frequent trips in the summer up the local mtn to hike about (more on these trips later) We had a lot of fun on the ole blue connie!

Duke's first blog post

Hi , my name is Duke. I'm some sort of bishon/poodle mix. My owner Mark got me from his dad (who sadly passed on last year) Mark's dad got me from a L.A. county pound in 2003 (saved me from a very nasty fate!)
In 2007 Mark customized a saddle bag on his motorcycle (a windshield even!) so I could go with him to visit his pop in the alztimers home. I took to it right away & have had many adventures which I will write about here!
